Meet Kristi
I grew up in Blount County and graduated from William Blount High School in 1988. Before starting my family, I completed a Licensed Practical Nursing program through Blount Memorial and attended Roane State Community College. I have worked at Knoxville Pediatric as a nurse in the Foothills office since 1999.
My husband Dave and I moved to South Knoxville 27 years ago and immediately knew this is where we wanted to raise our family. We welcomed our three greatest blessings, Kaitlyn, Brandon, and Sara, into the world in May of 1999 (that's right - triplets!). I fell in love with our South Knoxville schools when my own children started kindergarten at Bonny Kate Elementary in 2004, and I have been an active volunteer in our schools since that time! I have spent hundreds of hours volunteering in our schools over the last 18 years, including serving as PTA President at Bonny Kate Elementary, PTA Vice President at both South-Doyle Middle School and South-Doyle High School, and currently serve as the Board Chair of the Knox County Board of Education.
I feel incredibly blessed to live in South Knoxville, and it is a tremendous honor to serve the families of the 9th district on the Knox County Board of Education.
